Manufacturing of any complexity
How a full contract-manufacturing cycle runs — from the customer's brief to a series batch.
Contract manufacturing does not begin with a mould, it begins with a brief. The customer arrives with a part they need made and with the requirements around it: dimensions, material, volume, service conditions.
Design review follows: the part is checked for manufacturability, its geometry adjusted where needed so that it can be moulded consistently, and every change agreed with the customer.
A mould is then built or reworked, a trial batch is moulded and measured. The trial batch is the point where calculation and reality are compared.
Series production starts only once the samples are approved. The process parameters are fixed at that point, and from then on the job is to repeat them from batch to batch.
